Record CBRT reserves! Reached $174.3 billion

The Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye's reserves broke a record.
Accordingly, the Central Bank's reserves increased by $5.4 billion compared to the previous week, reaching $174.3 billion in the week ending August 8.
According to calculations from the Central Bank's analytical balance sheet, reserves stood at $169 billion in the week of August 1. Gross reserves increased by $5.4 billion in the week to $174.3 billion.
According to the news in Sabah, the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) has increased its gross reserves by $12.9 billion since the beginning of the year.
Net international reserves, which stood at $63.2 billion the previous week, are expected to increase by $4.5 billion to reach $67.7 billion in the week ending August 8. Official reserve data will be released to the public on Thursday, August 14.
