It concerns millions! 1.4 billion TL worth of SED payments are in the accounts

Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş announced that a total of 1 billion 401 million lira in Social and Economic Support (SED) payments were deposited into accounts for July to support children socially and meet their education expenses.

In a written statement, Minister of Family and Social Services Göktaş stated that they attach special importance to services for children and provide Social and Economic Support (SED) aid to support them socially and cover their educational expenses.

Göktaş emphasized that they support children with SED, alongside their families and within their social environment, and noted that they work to ensure that children grow up as self-confident, educated and healthy individuals who possess national values.

SED AVERAGE INCREASED: 8,198 LIRA

Göktaş, stating that they strive to ensure that children are raised with the compassion and warmth of their families through family-focused social service models, said , "We believe that children's growth in a family environment plays an indispensable role in preserving social values. In this context, we deposited a total of 1.4 billion Turkish Lira in SED payments for July to support children socially and cover their educational expenses."

Minister Göktaş underlined that the SED payment increased to 8,198 lira with the new regulation in the July civil servant salary coefficient, and stated that the increased payments will be deposited into the accounts of beneficiaries in August.
