Power outages on Sunday will affect several municipalities: Lisbon, Oeiras, Sintra, Tomar and Algarve.

E-Redes has announced scheduled power outages in several municipalities across the country next Sunday due to maintenance work on the electricity distribution network .
Power outages will occur between 5:00 AM and 11:00 AM , affecting Lisbon, Oeiras, Sintra, Tomar, Faro, Lagos, and Olhão .
According to a statement published by E-Redes on its official website, these are "scheduled and pre-planned interruptions" aimed at "ensuring the quality and reliability of the electricity service."
“Maintaining the continuity and quality of electricity supply is E-Redes' priority. To this end, we carry out localized work on the distribution network, which requires occasional interruptions in the electricity supply to customers,” the company explains.
The operator also emphasizes that these interventions correct situations that could cause insecurity or malfunctions in the electrical grid and improve the efficiency of the service provided to consumers.
The disruptions will affect various points in the country, from the Lisbon Metropolitan Area to the Algarve . Here is the complete list of locations and times indicated by E-Redes:
- Campolide Parish — Avenida Conselheiro Fernando de Sousa and Rua Professor Sousa da Câmara. Interruption between 05:00 and 11:00.
- Union of Parishes of Algés, Linda-a-Velha and Cruz Quebrada-Dafundo. Between 7:00 AM and 11:00 AM.
- Union of Parishes of São João das Lampas and Terrugem. Between 6:00 AM and 11:00 AM.
- Parishes of São João Batista and Santa Maria dos Olivais. Between 6:00 AM and 7:00 AM.
- Parish of Montenegro. Between 07:00 and 11:00.
- Parish of Quelfes. Between 07:00 and 11:00.
- Parish of São Gonçalo de Lagos. Between 7:00 AM and 11:00 AM.

According to the company, the interventions include maneuvers, connections, repairs and maintenance of electrical network infrastructure , carried out whenever there is no possible alternative power supply .
