New IUC (Vehicle Tax) rules are coming. And for those who pay more, the change is greater.

The rules for the Single Circulation Tax (IUC) will change starting next year, and payment will be due in February of each year. This change will impact the financial organization of many people, and to mitigate the impact, if the amount exceeds 100 euros, there is the option to pay in two equal installments: the first in February and the second in October.
With the new regulations, regardless of the vehicle's registration date, it is mandatory to pay the tax in February. Until now, the IUC (Vehicle Circulation Tax) was paid in the month corresponding to the vehicle's registration: those who own more than one car could spread the payment throughout the year.
The change in the payment schedule may also result in the IUC (Vehicle Tax) being paid twice in a short period: for example, those who pay this month or next month will have to pay again in February. As for the amount to be paid, changes to the payment schedule are yet to be announced.
The IUC (Vehicle Tax) payment must be made through the Tax Authority's website , where you can generate the payment slip and payment references. To avoid forgetting and potential fines, you can also authorize direct debit with the Tax Authority, ensuring that the amount is paid automatically on time.
