Board position: Former Aberdeen boss joins Fisch Asset Management

Hartmut Leser will join the Board of Directors of Fisch Asset Management. The former CEO of Aberdeen Investments Germany succeeds Juerg Sturzenegger, who is leaving the board at his own request.
From 2007 to 2022, Leser headed Aberdeen's German business, where he was responsible for expanding the institutional business. Previously, he was managing partner at Feri , responsible for investment consulting.
Today, Leser is a partner at Brain Capital and teaches asset management as an honorary professor at WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management. With this appointment, the fixed-income boutique aims to strengthen its position in the German market, which, according to Chairman of the Board of Directors Pius Fisch, "has always been of great strategic importance."
