Tax revenues increased by 48.5 percent compared to last year

According to the June budget implementation results of the Ministry of Treasury and Finance, tax revenues increased by 48.5 percent compared to the previous year, reaching 4 trillion 771 billion 457 million lira.
According to the results announced by the Ministry, central government budget expenditures increased by 43.1 percent in June 2024 from 866 billion 498 million lira to 1 trillion 239 billion 603 million lira.
8.4 percent of the 14 trillion 731 billion 14 million lira allocation envisaged for central government budget expenditures in 2025 has been used.
While there was a non-interest deficit of 176 billion 4 million lira in June last year, this year the non-interest deficit was 54 billion 501 million lira in the same month.
Non-interest budget expenditures increased by 25.6 percent compared to the same month last year, reaching 963 billion 928 million lira. The realization rate of non-interest expenditures relative to budget allocations was 7.8 percent in the same month of 2024, compared to 7.5 percent last month.
Central government budget revenues, which stood at 591 billion 218 million lira in June last year, increased by 53.8 percent to 909 billion 427 million lira in the same month this year. According to the budget estimate, the budget revenue realization rate in June was 7 percent in 2024, but it was 7.1 percent last month.
Tax revenue collection increased by 58.3 percent in June compared to last year, reaching 764.929 billion lira. The tax revenue realization rate, according to the budget estimate, was 6.5 percent in 2024, but it was 6.9 percent last month.
