Honey swap cancellation now it's time for the calculation

The power of Attempts to exploit the "reserve area" method, which should be used for urban transformation, for profiteering purposes continue. Recently, this method involved exchanging worthless land for coupon land in other provinces and districts.
The 187 shops in Malatya's Şire Market were also swapped for valuable land in various parts of Türkiye, particularly in İzmir's Çeşme and Alaçatı. This "sweetheart swap," which Sözcü newspaper frequently discussed and CHP Manisa Deputy Ahmet Vehbi Bakırlıoğlu voiced in the Turkish Grand National Assembly, has been canceled.
WHERE ARE THE RESPONSIBLE?
In Malatya, 187 shops belonging to a company called İş-Kaya were declared reserve areas, with a payment of 1.8 billion Turkish Lira. These properties were to be exchanged for 15 valuable plots totaling 324,000 square meters in Ankara, İzmir, Aydın, and Diyarbakır. This situation sparked controversy on the grounds that it caused significant public harm, and CHP MP Bakırlıoğlu filed a criminal complaint. An announcement was made to shopkeepers in the Şire market, announcing that the shops in the market had been removed from the "reserved area" status. Bakırlıoğlu stated, "In this case, the exchange transaction is also cancelled. The mistake has been rectified, but those responsible must also be held accountable."
Bakırlıoğlu, arguing that the relevant ministers and institutions remained silent and failed to take responsibility throughout the process, said, "An investigation should be launched into those who proposed and approved this exchange, and those who abused their power should be prosecuted. Who is turning a blind eye to this attempt to swindle public property? Environment Minister Murat Kurum must explain."
