Borsa Istanbul bans credit trading on three stocks

Borsa Istanbul announced that it has taken margin trading measures on the shares of three stocks.
According to the statement made by Borsa Istanbul on the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), within the scope of the Volatility Based Measure System (VBTS) put into effect in accordance with the decision of the Capital Markets Board (CMB); a margin trading ban has been imposed on the shares of Hedef Holding A.Ş., Ufuk Investment Management and Real Estate Inc. and Ulusoy Electric Manufacturing Contracting and Trading Inc. until August 1, 2025.
In the statements, it was stated for Hedef Holding and Ufuk Yatırım that, "Within the scope of the Volatility Based Measure System (VBTS) put into effect in accordance with the decision of the Capital Markets Board, HEDEF.E and UFUK.E shares will not be subject to short selling and margin transactions from the transactions dated 02/07/2025 (from the beginning of the session) to the transactions dated 01/08/2025 (from the end of the session)", while for Ulusoy Elektrik, it was stated that "Within the scope of the Volatility Based Measure System (VBTS) put into effect in accordance with the decision of the Capital Markets Board, gross clearing will be applied to ULUSE.E shares from the transactions dated 02/07/2025 (from the beginning of the session) to the transactions dated 01/08/2025 (from the end of the session). The measures currently applied to the relevant share and defined in the previous stages within the scope of VBTS (prohibition of margin transactions measure) will continue for the duration of the gross clearing measure application".
