Three earthquakes in Gemlik in two days! Naci Görür: A dangerous place

According to AFAD data, an earthquake of magnitude 4.3 occurred in the Gemlik district of Bursa at 13:57. It was recorded that the earthquake was 12.91 kilometers deep.
Earthquakes of magnitude 3.9 and 4.2 occurred in Gemlik yesterday, one hour apart.
Earth Scientist Prof. Dr. Naci Görür shared a new post on his social media account after the recent earthquake. Görür stated that the earthquake was on the Gemlik Fault and that it was a dangerous place.
Görür made the following statements:
“Another 4.4 earthquake in Şahinyurdu-Gemlik/Bursa. This earthquake is on the Gemlik Fault. It is on the southern branch of the NAF. Since there is a lot of energy accumulation in the northern branch, this place is also affected. It is a dangerous place. It requires care in terms of location. A major earthquake that may occur sooner or later could cause serious damage. EARTHQUAKE RESISTANT GEMLIK should be seriously considered.”

Görür had this to say about the earthquakes that occurred the previous day:
“A 4.0 earthquake occurred in Şahinyurdu-Gemlik/Bursa. It is on the southern branch of the NAF. We expect an earthquake in Marmara, on the northern branch of the NAF, but this place is also important. It accumulates energy slowly, but it is dangerous. Administrators should be careful and make this place earthquake resistant. The people should demand it.”
