A new car park with a capacity of 144 vehicles was opened in Sabiha Gökçen today

Sabiha Gökçen Airport, one of the important gateways in air connection to Istanbul, has opened a new parking area developed in addition to its existing parking capacity in parallel with the increasing passenger traffic and high growth rate. Within the scope of the optimization studies carried out in a planned manner without affecting the existing passenger traffic throughout the terminal, the 144-vehicle Phase-1 and Phase-2 sections of the 'Holistic Parking Project' planned in 7 phases were opened for use as of June 30, 2025 after the completion of the environmental and infrastructure arrangements. The new parking lot, which has an independent entrance and exit from the open and closed parking areas, has also been allocated for the use of disabled drivers with a 12-vehicle area.

The parking lot expansion project, which started with an investment of approximately 7 million Euros at Sabiha Gökçen, the "City Airport" that has become an ideal transfer point for transportation in Istanbul and its surroundings, will offer a wider and more comfortable parking area for guests and will make travel easier for passengers. When the entire project is completed, entrances to the airport will become smoother, while the density in parking areas will decrease and passengers will have more parking options. Prioritizing the improvement of the airport experience of guests at every stage, ISG aims to continue infrastructure and service developments in parallel with the increasing number of passengers and to reinforce the leading position of the airport in the region.
