Teixeira Duarte joins PSI, which now has 16 titles

The change announced this Wednesday takes effect from next Monday and the PSI now has 16 listed companies.

Euronext today announced the results of the annual review of the PSI, which will be implemented after the close of markets on Friday, September 19, 2025, and will come into effect from Monday, September 22, 2025.

The news is that Teixeira Duarte returns to the PSI, the main showcase for Portuguese listed companies.

Euronext rules require a minimum of €100 million in free float (dispersed capital). This value can drop to €75 million without the listed company having to leave the index at the quarterly review. Only at the index's annual review can a stock leave the PSI if the €100 million free float criterion is not met. Each listed PSI company must then have 15% of its capital in free float, but there is a tolerance for two PSI stocks to have between 10% and 15% at the annual review.

The PSI now has 15 stocks after Greenvolt was demoted from the main national index at the end of last year. Greenvolt was delisted from the stock market following its acquisition by Gamma Lux Aggregator, an entity owned by Kohlberg Kravis Roberts (KKR).

Euronext reserves the right to change the published selection, for example in the case of removal due to a takeover, until the publication of the final data after the close on Wednesday, September 17, 2025. Any events occurring after that date will not result in the replacement of any company that needs to be removed from the final index selection.
