Lublin is looking for contractors for district investments

- We are starting important and expected investments for the residents of the Tatary district. Immediately after receiving the funding, we will announce tenders for the selection of contractors. The renovated amphitheater will be a place to organize various types of cultural, educational and community-integrating events. The facility will be rebuilt similarly to its surroundings - says Krzysztof Żuk, the president of Lublin.
The revitalization of the existing housing estate amphitheater will include the reconstruction of the facility in terms of the audience zone and the renovation and reconstruction of the stage zone. The contractor will replace the surface on parts of the existing damaged sidewalks and build new pedestrian routes in place of the trampled paths. In addition, small architectural elements such as park benches, bicycle racks, waste bins, exhibition stands and information boards will be installed.
It is also planned to replace the existing damaged reinforced concrete retaining walls with gabion walls and build new ones. Additionally, the contractor will tidy up the existing greenery and implement new plantings in the area adjacent to the amphitheater. The space will be lit and equipped with monitoring and telecommunications installation.
In turn, the aim of revitalising the square between blocks 12, 14 and 16 at ul. Montażowa is to create a friendly space for the residents of the estate. The task involves hardening the square by replacing its surface and using pedestrian communication solutions based on convenient connections. There will be rest areas designed in the form of wooden seats attached to retaining walls in the form of gabions. The contractor will redesign the existing stairs. With people with disabilities in mind, a ramp will be built and the area will be profiled. A storm sewer system, lighting and a telecommunications installation with monitoring will also be built. The whole will be complemented by small architectural objects.
The deadline for submitting bids in both procedures is July 3. The contractors will have 15 months from the date of conclusion of the contract to complete the tasks.
The investments are the implementation of the project "Revitalization of part of the Tatary district in Lublin" under the European Funds for Lublin 2021-2027 program. The total value of the project is over PLN 12.3 million, and the value of the obtained funding is: PLN 10 million from the European Union and approximately PLN 1.2 million from the state budget. The project completion date is the end of July 2027.
