The Mexican government will offer 100,000 positions at 400 job fairs in 2025.

MEXICO CITY.- This Friday, during the usual press conference of the president of Mexico , Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo , Marath Bolaños , Secretary of Labor , participated.
In his speech, the official reported that the Mexican government will hold 400 job fairs with more than 100,000 vacancies this year as a measure to counter the economic uncertainty caused by U.S. protectionism.

Marath Bolaños said the largest recruitment event will take place on June 9, during the National Job Fair , an action within the Mexico Plan presented by President Claudia Sheinbaum to respond to the tariffs imposed by US President Donald Trump .
"Within the commitments established in Plan Mexico, within the framework of these actions, I want to tell you that our president has asked us to increase and strengthen our efforts around national job fairs," Bolaños explained.
Marath Bolaños also reported an investment of 24.205 billion pesos in 2025 for the Youth Building the Future program, created by former President Andrés Manuel López Obrador (2018-2024) so that companies can pay apprentices.
This year's goal is to incorporate 450,000 new young people, who would join the more than 3.1 million beneficiaries, seven out of ten of whom will find permanent employment, the secretary stated.
