Itabus Summer: New Connections to Major Tourist Destinations

Itabus Summer: New Connections to Major Tourist Destinations

Summer is here, and Itabus is increasing its connections to the season's most popular destinations. Part of the Italo group, the company currently operates a fleet of 100 buses, 80 daily services, and 126 destinations from north to south, in addition to connected European destinations.

With the holidays approaching, there's a strong focus on seaside destinations: 6 new connections to and from Gallipoli (connected to Rome, Naples, and Salerno), an increase in services to Calabria (to destinations such as Sibari and Crotone), doubled direct connections to the Sicilian destinations of Messina and Catania from 4 to 6, introduced 2 trips a day on the Adriatic coast with stops in Cattolica, Riccione, and Rimini, and 2 daily services to Pompeii and Sorrento from major Italian cities (such as Turin, Milan, Bologna, and Rome).

Francesco Fiore, CEO of Itabus, says: "The summer that has just begun is generating a great desire to visit Italy. Tourists from all over the world are arriving, eager to visit our cities and reach our coasts. We've launched these new services specifically to bring travelers to the most popular destinations. We have connections with trains and ships, and we reach the main high-speed train stations, Italy's major airports, and strategic ports for the entire cruise industry."

Specifically for tourists traveling by plane, Itabus confirms connections between major Italian cities and the airports of Rome Fiumicino, Rome Ciampino, Milan Malpensa, Bergamo Orio al Serio (Bergamo), Venice Marco Polo, and Catania Fontanarossa. These tourists also arrive by sea, which is why Itabus (in collaboration with Italo) serves the ports of Naples, Venice, and Civitavecchia in connection with MSC Cruises ships (the MSC group is a shareholder of Italo with an approximately 50% stake).
