Meurthe-et-Moselle. After five years of waiting, a doctor finally settles in Villey-Saint-Étienne.
In December 2020, Villey-Saint-Étienne said goodbye to Dr. Philippe Hasselmann, who retired after 38 years of practice. His departure left the town without a successor, ushering in a period of uncertainty. Almost five years later, the wait is coming to an end: a new doctor, Mélanie Weber, is taking over.
Mélanie Weber, 40, a mother of two, lives in Dommartin-lès-Toul. After attending school in Northern Moselle, in Terville and then Thionville, she studied medicine in Nancy. Until now, she worked as an emergency physician at the Marie-Madeleine Hospital in Forbach.
