Supporting a nascent, low-carbon, and promising industry: this is the objective of a cross-party bill tabled Wednesday, June 4, in the National Assembly. In a maritime sector still far from decarbonization, the sailing transport industry suffered from an inadequate legal framework.

"This is a law that will allow us to gain legal recognition," says Guillaume Le Grand. His shipping company, TOWT, transports passengers and goods to the West Indies and the United States, at a rate of 1,200 tons per ship.
