Abandoned for years, the old railway line between Firminy and Dunières could be given a new lease of life. A greenway project, nearly 27 kilometers long, combines heritage, nature, and tourism development, but is still awaiting the necessary funding to come to fruition.

For nearly thirty kilometers, tunnels and viaducts run along the old railway line that connected Firminy to Dunières. It is along this route that the O2 association would like to create a greenway dedicated to soft mobility. A project that, if realized, could transform the tourist appeal of an entire region.
