MEXICO CITY.— This Monday, the US currency started the day with gains, being offered in international markets at 19.5998 pesos per dollar wholesale , according to the financial platform Investing .
At the start of trading today in the foreign exchange market , the dollar rose 0.99% to 0.2125 units.
The dollar closed Friday at 19.433 pesos per dollar and opened today at 19.447 pesos per dollar, representing an annual variation of 16.2%.
This Monday, May 12, 2025, the price of the dollar in Mexico opened the retail day with a maximum selling price of 20.6612 pesos per dollar .
According to information from various banking institutions, at the opening, the US dollar is selling for up to 20.6612 pesos at Bank of America branches, while the maximum purchase price is 19.0803 pesos at Intercam bank counters.

At purchase, the lowest price is 18.20 pesos per dollar offered by Banorte bank, and the highest is 19.0803 pesos per dollar offered by Intercam bank.

Meanwhile, the 48-hour interbank rate was set at 19.4669.
According to The Economy Forecast Agency, the dollar's exchange rate fell 0.53% last Friday compared to the previous day.
For Tuesday, May 13, 2025, the agency sets a maximum purchase price of 19,060 pesos per dollar, while its sales forecast is up to 19,640 pesos per dollar.
