Previously 28 years at Commerzbank: Capitell brings in manager for newly created position

Gerrit Weber joins Capitell as Head of Staff. The position was newly created at the Frankfurt-based asset management firm to support the Executive Board in key issues.

In this role, Weber will oversee, among other things, collaboration with external partners and the back office, including accounting, compliance, auditing, reporting, and risk management. His future responsibilities will also include collaboration with the auditor and tax advisor.

Former Commerzbank colleague brought Weber to Capitell

"After 28 years at Commerzbank , this wasn't an easy step for me. During this time, I was responsible for many topics and major projects. But now it was time for me to look for a new challenge. I received an inquiry about this exciting position from my former colleague, Chris-Oliver Schickentanz , whom I greatly valued both professionally and personally, and I was immediately enthusiastic about it," Weber says of the move.

Weber has held various positions at Commerzbank for the past almost three decades, playing a leading role in building up the advisory business in Wealth Management, among other areas.
