However, it’s worth noting that not every item inside will always appeal to all. Some buyers have pointed out that a few Easter Eggs contain repeat products from previous beauty boxes, making them less exciting for long-time subscribers. Designed to ‘pamper and rejuvenate’, bath and body favourite Rituals has released not one, but two Easter eggs this year, and they’re the perfect wellness alternative this season. Both gift sets are elegantly packaged in reusable, egg-shaped containers, which can be used in years to come to hide seasonal goodies.

The better value of the two is the Ritual of Mehr Easter Egg Gift Set, which is £37.50, but is worth £41.70. This egg features three luxurious treats from the brand’s much-loved unisex range, including a foaming shower gel, body cream and car air freshener. Ready to last you long after Easter, all the products are infused with the fresh and zesty scent of sweet orange and cedar wood.

Alternatively, there’s the Ritual of Sakura Easter Egg Gift Set for £37.50, the downside however is that this one isn’t worth quite as much, with the contents totting up to £38.70. But what it lacks in savings it makes up for in indulgence, with the set ideal for anyone who loves to self-care. Like the other set, this also contains a foaming shower gel and body cream, but is rounded off by a travel sized eau de parfum, all in the sweet, delicate scent of cherry blossom and rice milk.

Starring products worth over £183, Next’s Luxury Beauty Easter Egg costs £50, and contains eight beauty items, one of which - the Aromatherapy Associates Support Breathe Bath and Shower Oil - is worth £58 alone. That’s more than you pay for the whole edit.

For makeup lovers there’s an ICONIC London Lip Plumping Gloss in Nearly Nude (worth £22) and the Ted Baker delilah Definitive Mascara (worth £27). Fragrance fans will be thrilled to find a full size Ted Baker Floret Polly Eau De Toilette, usually £20, while the Laura Mercier Almond Coconut Hand Cream smells equally as delicious.
