MHP Elazığ Deputy Işıkver, who also made harsh criticisms of the Italian owners of the Cement Factory that poisoned Elazığ, said, "While their daughters are vacationing in Miami and Equatorial Guinea, will our daughters be here to wipe their dust? My conscience does not accept this."

Işıkver also emphasized that he had not made any promises in the past to move the factory, and said that he would not give up on this incident, that he made this effort together with other deputies and administrators, and that he could not have made a single move without them.

Addressing the factory managers, Işıkver said that a process has started, that there is no turning back, that President Erdoğan is also aware of the issue, that the cost of moving has already been paid with the deteriorating roads for years, the pollution of the environment and human health, and that the factory should be moved out of the center in a graceful manner.
