Gülen, the student who made his family proud with his score, said he worked hard to achieve a good score on the exam. Recalling that his father greeted him with flowers on the day he took the YKS exam, Gülen said:

"It was a beautiful day. What was even more beautiful was my father greeting me with flowers. The YKS results were announced today. I scored above my expectations. I was among the top 10,000 students. I want to study Artificial Intelligence-Assisted Software Engineering. I'll be choosing Ankara, Istanbul, Izmir, and Eskişehir. I'm so proud to have met my family's expectations this way. We're so happy."
