An armed attack was carried out on the car in Konya, carrying father MK (33) and his son S.K. (11). Following a report, 112 Emergency Health and police teams were dispatched to the scene. Upon examination, it was determined that M.K. had died.
The seriously injured child was taken to Konya City Hospital but could not be saved despite medical intervention. The bodies of the father and son were taken to the Konya Forensic Medicine Institute for an autopsy.
The study has been initiatedAs part of an operation launched by police to apprehend the suspect(s), the car believed to have been used in the incident was found abandoned in the Çatalhüyük neighborhood. A search of the vehicle yielded the gun believed to have been used in the attack.
It was learned that M.K. has three daughters and his wife is pregnant.
The bodies will be sent to their hometown, Niğde, for burial after the autopsy.
