The lowest retirement salary will be presented to the Turkish Grand National Assembly! Statement from Minister Işıkhan

Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan answered questions from journalists following the Cabinet Meeting held at the Presidential Complex under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
LOWEST RETIREMENT MONEY
In response to a press member’s question about whether the minimum pension amount would be increased, Işıkhan said:
"When the June inflation figure is determined on July 3, the CPI realized in the first 6 months of the year will be revealed. We will hold the necessary meetings under the chairmanship of our Minister of Treasury and Finance and Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz. Then, the relevant figure will be presented to the Parliament very soon. The discretion is with the Turkish Grand National Assembly. Our Group Chairman Abdullah Güler also made the necessary statements regarding the issue. Hopefully, it will be beneficial for our retirees."
LAST OFFER WILL BE PRESENTED THIS WEEK
Minister Işıkhan responded to a question regarding the Public Collective Labor Agreements Framework Protocol negotiations, which will determine the financial and social rights of approximately 600 thousand workers in the public sector, by saying, " Within the scope of the Public Framework Protocol, we will present our final offer to our unions through TÜHİS this week. I believe that an agreement will be reached at a reasonable point, God willing."
