The cause of death of Türkiye's first female racing announcer, Esen Gök, was revealed in the autopsy report.

On July 19, after relatives who hadn't heard from Esen Gök notified the police, a locksmith was used to enter the house in the Osmaniye neighborhood of Bakırköy. The team found Gök's lifeless body hanging from a natural gas pipe by a sheet. Initial examination determined that the door was locked from the inside, the key was stuck in the door, and there were no signs of forced entry. Esen Gök's autopsy, conducted at the Morgue Specialization Department of the Forensic Medicine Institute, was completed. The examination found no traces of any prohibited substances in Gök's body. The autopsy report stated that there were no signs of assault or cut on Gök's body, that the hanging occurred while the victim was alive, and that death was the result of hanging. The report was sent to the Bakırköy Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, which is conducting the investigation into the incident.

A note believed to have been written by Esen Gök was found in the house, saying, "Sister, you are not responsible, you did nothing wrong. I was always looking for excuses."
