Hamdi Akın's statement on 'stadium capacity', 'banking union' and 'new facility'

Fenerbahçe Vice President Hamdi Akın appeared on FB TV's "Gündem Özel" (News Special) program. Akın provided information about the Banks Association's debt, new facility construction, and the stadium capacity expansion project.
"WE REDUCED IT FROM 347 MILLION EUROS TO 69"Akın said the following regarding the Banking Union:
“We reduced our debt to the Banks Association from 347 million Euros to 69 million Euros without selling any real estate.”
"Now that our debt is paid off, we can invest in our other land holdings. With the money from our project with Emlak Konut, we will complete our sports academy in Maltepe. The groundbreaking has been laid, and hopefully, we'll see it through to the end."
"WE ARE STARTING THE CONSTRUCTION OF 6 MILLION EURO VOLLEYBALL FACILITIES"Regarding the construction of the volleyball facilities, Akın said, "Our president's company, Ark İnşaat, is making its investments. It will be nearly finished within two years. All of Dereağzı's projects are complete. We're starting construction on the volleyball facilities, a €6 million investment. Then, the basketball, rowing, sailing, boxing, and table tennis facilities will be renovated. Finally, we'll build a 4,000-5,000-seat volleyball court. Dereağzı is a total investment of €40-50 million."
Akın provided the following information regarding the Şükrü Saracoğlu Stadium capacity increase project:
"50-70 million euros will come from the Kenan Evren land. We will expand our stadium with the money from here. We will increase our stadium capacity from 50,000 to 65,000.
"FENERBAHÇE RISEN FROM ITS ASHES"Addressing fans' criticism of the club's sporting failures over the last seven years, Akın said, "Yes, there may not have been any sporting success in seven years, but we can say that Fenerbahçe has risen from the ashes. I thank our president. The financial discipline he has brought to the club is a completely different kind of success."
