Drug operation in Istanbul

According to reports, the Istanbul Police Department's Narcotics Branch conducted a series of operations between September 7th and 15th to apprehend suspects and prevent crimes related to the crime of "Manufacturing and Trafficking in Drugs or Stimulants." Eleven suspects were apprehended and taken into custody following operations conducted in the districts of Şişli, Güngören, Ümraniye, Ataşehir, Başakşehir, and Büyükçekmece under the direction of the prosecutor's office.
During searches at the raided addresses, 309 kilograms and 300 grams of skunk, 200 kilograms and 400 grams of methamphetamine, 2 kilograms and 450 grams of cocaine, 1,318,366 synthetic pharmaceutical pills, and 75 kilograms of chemical additives reportedly used in drug manufacturing were seized. Eleven suspects were apprehended and taken into custody and taken into police custody for questioning. All suspects were arrested by judicial authorities following the completion of their investigations on charges of "Manufacture and Trafficking of Narcotic or Stimulant Substances."
Meanwhile, the seized narcotics were displayed at the police station. Istanbul Provincial Police Chief Selami Yıldız congratulated his personnel at the Vatan Street campus where the drugs seized during the operations were displayed. Speaking to members of the press afterwards, Yıldız said, "Our fight against drugs continues with determination in schools, on the streets, and in cyberspace. I extend my gratitude to the people of Istanbul, our greatest supporters in this fight, for their strong support."
