Central Bank reserves reached $176.3 billion

The total reserves of the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye (CBRT) decreased by $183 million in the week of August 22 compared to the previous week, falling to $176 billion 327 million.
The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) announced its weekly money and banking statistics.
Accordingly, as of August 22, the Central Bank's gross foreign exchange reserves increased by $162 million to $91.90 billion. Gross foreign exchange reserves stood at $90.928 billion on August 15.
During this period, gold reserves decreased by $345 million, from $85 billion 582 million to $85 billion 237 million.
Thus, the total reserves of the Central Bank decreased by $183 million in the week of August 22 compared to the previous week, from $176 billion 510 million to $176 billion 327 million.
