451 million lira worth of smuggled cigarettes were prevented in the first half of the year.

According to the statement made by the Ministry, as a result of the successful operations carried out by the teams, smugglers who try to lure young people into the swamp of addiction were given no respite in 2025, as in every year.

As a result of operations conducted using advanced technology, 2,150 packs of cigarettes worth 451,588,000 lira and 4,422,000 electronic cigarettes have been seized since the beginning of the year.
