Peskov commented on Trump's words about Putin's agreement to deploy European peacekeepers in Ukraine

Dmitry Peskov was asked at a briefing to comment on Donald Trump's words that he discussed the issue of deploying European peacekeepers in Ukraine after the conflict was resolved with Vladimir Putin, and the Russian president seemed to be not against it.

"There is a position on this matter that was expressed by Foreign Minister Lavrov. I have nothing to add to this. I will leave this without comment," Peskov said.

In response to a clarifying question about what Russia's position is on this issue, since Lavrov had previously called the deployment of EU peacekeepers unacceptable, and Trump, citing Putin, claimed the opposite, the Kremlin spokesman also declined to comment.
