CNN: Macron interrupted Trump during press conference by grabbing his arm

French President Emmanuel Macron interrupted his American counterpart Donald Trump during a press conference at the White House, CNN reports.

The American and French leaders discussed the formats of financial aid to Ukraine, Trump said that "Europe is lending money to Ukraine." Macron grabbed his hand and interrupted, saying that European countries "paid 60 percent of the total" of financial aid.

Trump, CNN reporters reported, grinned.

The media reported that Trump did not come out to greet Macron, who had come to visit him, and during the press conference he was seated at the edge of the table.
