Panama Canal to complete pre-qualification for port concessions in early 2026

Panama Canal executives plan to meet with shipping companies interested in building and operating two new ports in the waterway area in early December and expect to have the companies pre-qualified by early 2026, the canal's director, Ricaurte Vásquez, said at a conference on Monday.
