Fampe 30 years: Sebrae projects R$12 billion in credit for entrepreneurs

Sebrae wants to bring around R$12 billion in credit to entrepreneurs across the country by 2025. The action is being developed through the Micro and Small Business Guarantee Fund (Fampe), coordinated by the institution. In the first five months of this year alone, the initiative, which includes The federal government's Acredita Program has already made R$1.6 billion in financing available – a growth of 32% compared to 2024 .

Today, 60% of Brazilians want to start their own businesses. However, 88% of small businesses still cannot obtain credit. Through Fampe, we open the doors of credit to this sector to ensure security, assisted credit and longevity. Our guarantee fund is guided and assisted. With this, we are enabling entrepreneurs in Brazil to access credit, expanding opportunities, generating inclusion and income.

Décio Lima, president of Sebrae.

Sebrae has 21 financial institutions operating Fampe, including Bradesco, which was the first large private financial institution to be accredited to operate the Guarantee Fund carried out in partnership with the National Bank for Economic and Social Development (BNDES), which will increase operations at the end of the first half of 2025. Last month, Sebrae and the Brazilian Credit Union System (Sicoob) also signed an agreement that made R$400 million in credit available with Fampe's guarantee. .

Furthermore, with Acredita Microcrédito – a guarantee fund for operations outside the traditional financial system, such as community banks, social currencies, and microcredit programs run by city governments and states – the expectation is to reach a total of R$250 million in credit. In addition to these initiatives, the entity launched Acredita Delas, which is guaranteed by Fampe and has already provided R$55 million in credit to small businesses run by women in one month of operation throughout Brazil.
