Unemployment in Poland up in January. Central Statistical Office releases new data

The registered unemployment rate of 5.4 percent in January 2025 confirms the preliminary data provided at the beginning of the month by the Ministry of Family, Labor and Social Policy.

The Central Statistical Office also released data for the fourth quarter of 2024 from the so-called Labour Force Survey on Tuesday. According to this methodology (Eurostat), the unemployment rate in Poland was 2.8%, compared to 2.9% in the fourth quarter of 2023.
