Pension Bienestar: Seniors who will not receive their September payment with their card

Some seniors could face delays or not receive their September 2025 payments from the Pension for the Welfare of Older Adults and the Women's Welfare Pension if they fail to complete an essential procedure: changing the provisional PIN on their Banco del Bienestar card .

Furthermore, those with expired cards will not be able to withdraw their pension from ATMs and establishments. It should be noted that the deposit will still be made and the money will be reflected in the account, but to withdraw it, you will need to go to a Banco del Bienestar counter.

Recipients should check the card's expiration date , which is displayed in MM/YY format. For example, 8/25 means the card expired in August and will no longer be valid as of September 1 .

To renew it, you will need to go to the Banco del Bienestar and request a replacement card.

Each Banco del Bienestar card comes with a temporary PIN included in the delivery envelope. This PIN must be replaced with a personal one before withdrawing funds, as it acts as the access key to the bimonthly deposits of 6,200 pesos or 3,000 pesos .

The process is quick and can be done at any Banco del Bienestar ATM:

1. Insert your card and select the Change PIN option.
2. Enter a new PIN of your choice.
3. Confirm it and that's it, your card will be active to receive payment.

The Banco del Bienestar and the Ministry of Welfare recommend that all seniors complete this process as soon as possible to avoid delays and ensure receipt of their September payment.
