LOGRA wins bid for the Port of Veracruz

LOGRA wins bid for the Port of Veracruz

On May 14, the Veracruz National Port System Administration (ASIPONA Veracruz) awarded the Mexican company LOGRA the contract for the construction and operation of a new specialized terminal for the import and export of automobiles at the Port of Veracruz. This new port infrastructure is projected to be one of the most important in the Gulf of Mexico and will be strategically positioned to strengthen Mexico's connection with the North American and European markets.

On the occasion of its 30th anniversary as a port terminal operator, LOGRA publicly recognized the work of the Ministry of the Navy, in coordination with the Federal Government, for its ongoing efforts to strengthen the infrastructure and competitiveness of the national port system. In particular, it highlighted the exemplary management of the recent bidding process.

In an interview, Engineer Gerardo Antonio Díaz Roche of LOGRA expressed his appreciation to the Ministry of the Navy, the General Coordination of Ports and Merchant Marine, and especially to ASIPONA Veracruz, for their leadership and commitment to the sector's growth. He emphasized that open and transparent processes like this bidding process send a clear message of legal certainty to investors, generating confidence to continue investing in the country's port development and, thereby, strengthening the competitiveness of national industries.

Finally, within the context of the national port sector, the businessman welcomed the momentum behind strategic projects such as the expansion of the Port of Progreso, convinced that under a professional and transparent management model, Mexico will continue to consolidate its position as a world-class logistics leader.
