Pr Fesr, over 10 million for the Friuli Venezia Giulia region

“The flexibility of European programming allows us to allocate more than 10 million euros for initiatives in favor of the Friuli Venezia Giulia region: in particular, almost 5 million will be available to companies for the efficiency of structures and the general improvement of performance”.
This was announced by the regional Finance Councillor Barbara Zilli following the approval by the Regional Council – on her proposal – of the modification to the analytical financial plan of the 2021-2027 ERDF Regional Programme.
The revision was made necessary by the postponement of the mid-term review procedure of the Programme, which entails a delay in the allocation of the flexible quota of 54.8 million euros scheduled for 2025. To address this delay and ensure the continuity of the projects, the Region has decided to reprogram approximately 10.2 million euros of savings deriving mainly from the call for tenders for renewable energy.
The resources will be allocated, on the one hand, to the advance of 4.3 million euros on two procedures scheduled for the second quarter of 2025: one dedicated to the energy efficiency of companies, the other to investments for the transition towards the circular economy.
The overall savings of the call for renewable energies amount to approximately 13.3 million euros, but at the moment only a part of it has been reprogrammed, in function of the most urgent priorities. The remaining sums may be used at a later stage, in light of new needs or the outcome of the mid-term review of the Programme.
