Perfume fans can get six 'luxurious' bottles of fragrance for under £7.50 each in advent deal

As beauty advent calendars have grown in popularity over the last decade, this year, there seems to be a real demand for fragranced-focused offerings, with some selling out within hours of launching. And we’ve found one countdown that pairs home scents and perfume, saving more than £400 on the overall contents.
Sentier, a clean, unisex perfume brand, has released their 12 Days, 12 Stories calendar for £99. Presented in a sustainable box, it contains six alcohol-free perfumes and six candles with a total value of £516.
For a limited period, shoppers who use the code ADVENT at checkout can receive an additional 10% off, reducing the price to £89.10. That works out at £7.43 per item - impressive seeing as the perfumes are worth £32 individually.

While Sentier is a niche brand, some shoppers might recognise it after one of its fragrances was featured in last year's Glossybox calendar, while another previously appeared in a 2024 OK! Beauty Box, reports the Manchester Evening News .
Fragrance expert Jada Jones reviewed the Sentier calendar in 2024 , and while the box design has been refreshed for the new season, the contents remain unchanged. This is fantastic for anyone new to the brand, but those who bought the calendar last year might have preferred a change.
12 Days, 12 Stories advent calendar

Introducing Sentier's 2025 Advent Calendar: 12 Days, 12 Stories. Delight in 6 candles and 6 perfumes, elegantly presented in a meticulously crafted box.
Perfect for fragrance enthusiasts, those looking to broaden their scent collection or discover a new go-to perfume, the set includes six 10ml travel-friendly bottles. Jada commented on the sizes, saying: "The perfumes are a generous 10ml size which is my favourite size for a new scent. I always think it's the best to really suss out how you feel about something, it's big enough that you don't feel guilty for spritzing it but small enough to throw in your bag and top up as you please."
Each aroma in the box is said to 'tell a unique tale', and has been designed to 'ignite confidence'. Noor Riviera, touted as Sentier's top seller, is one of the most sought-after in the collection, evoking images of 'a lavish coastal cottage' during the golden hour. Lost Summer, on the other hand, is said to stir up nostalgia, 'transporting you back to carefree summer days spent laughing with friends'.
Jada was instantly smitten with Méribel , one of the six scents. She shared: "Méribel is described as 'a tribute to the enchanting snow-capped mountain villages nestled in Switzerland' and promises each spritz is a 'soft winter's kiss'. It has notes of white flowers, patchouli, amber, sandalwood and vanilla but I was really surprised with the actual scent. It's very sweet and powdery, I got compliments as soon as I put it on."

Since fragrance is deeply personal, it's inevitable that not every single scent will hit the mark. "With advent calendars I think there's always a bit of a gamble as there's normally quite a bit of variety," Jada explained.
"This one is no exception, with six different perfumes I expected to like some and dislike others. I wasn't crazy about Chronicles of Self as a perfume as the aniseed made me think of liquorice."
Meanwhile, LookFantastic has unveiled their debut fragrance advent calendar this year, celebrating 10 years since the brand's inaugural beauty countdown. Tagged at £130, it showcases legendary fragrances from YSL, Marc Jacobs, and Givenchy, with the contents worth over £485.
Harrods' fragrance calendar vanished from shelves in under 24 hours this year, demonstrating the enormous demand for scent-focused offerings. The Perfume Shop has opened their waiting list for this year's countdown, which is anticipated to feature 24 miniature perfumes from brands including Mugler, Boss and Rabanne.
However, hardly any of the alternative fragrance calendars available boast as many candles as Sentier's , which offers an even split between home fragrances and sprays. Discussing the candles, Jada remarked: "When it came to the candles they were all lovely and I liked that they come with twist on lids making them easy to store. My favourite was The Florist's Garden which was a surprise to me as I'm much more a fan of gourmands than floral scents."

Here's everything inside the Sentier advent calendar:

Initial feedback has been overwhelmingly positive for the calendar, with one buyer noting: "The perfumes are long-lasting and elegant. Each scent is distinct but wearable. I ended up ordering full sizes of two."
Another customer appreciated how the package felt 'beautifully packaged and sustainable', commenting: "The box looks stunning, and the whole experience felt luxurious from start to finish."
However, not every fragrance appealed to all customers, with one purchaser saying: "Some scents weren't my personal taste, but overall I found 8 out of 12 that I really enjoyed. Still well worth it.”
"Really enjoyed discovering both perfumes and candles," commented a fourth fan. "The balance between the two was perfect. Loved the Notes of Rêverie candle."
For those who missed last year's offering, Sentier's calendar serves as an excellent introduction to the brand. Customers can purchase it for £99 on the Sentier website, and apply the code ADVENT to receive 10% off.
