Europa-Park, the famous amusement park in Rust, Germany, celebrates its 50th anniversary this Saturday, July 12, 2025. Originally built as a showcase for the Mack family's rides, Europa-Park has grown into one of Europe's largest and most popular theme parks. Each year, more than six million visitors come to enjoy its legendary roller coasters like Silver Star and Blue Fire, its family attractions like Arthur and Pirates in Batavia, as well as its shows and themed areas featuring 17 European countries.
To celebrate this half-century of adventures, we have opened our archive box: from the summer of 1975 when the park unveiled its 15 attractions, including the famous Western train train, to the inauguration of Voltron, the longest propulsion roller coaster in Europe, a look back in images at fifty years of adventures, thrills and above all memories.
