The transfer window is beginning at France Info. Radio station director Agnès Vahramian announced to the newspaper Le Parisien that journalist Paul Larrouturou, from TF1, is joining the station. On air, he will be partnered with Agathe Lambret, the current voice of the public radio station's pre-evening program. "Two years before the presidential election, faced with fierce competition, we needed to redesign this program. Both are highly political and very complementary," said Agnès Vahramian.

Known for his brilliant microphone-in-hand stunts in the field, Paul Larrouturou is currently a reporter for the TF1 morning show, Bonjour ! At 38, he has long covered politics, after years at Le Petit Journal (on Canal +) and then Quotidien (on TMC, TF1 group). He also specializes in social media news, aimed at a younger audience. "Paul will also bring us digital resonance thanks to his community," added Agnès Vahramian. His arrival was announced early Wednesday by media expert Clément Garin.
The 8:30 a.m. interview on franceinfo is currently being hosted by Jérôme Chapuis and Salhia Brakhlia. The former will continue to host the station's morning show, starting at 6 a.m. Salhia Brakhlia, 39, herself announced on Tuesday that she was leaving the station after a "beautiful five-year relationship." On Instagram, she expressed her "immense gratitude for all these wonderful years at 8.30 Franceinfo and Les Informés" starting at 9 a.m., as well as her "immense joy at having made these meetings a success." Regarding the latter, Agnès Vahramian said in Le Parisien : "We discussed several options with her, but we didn't find common ground. So at some point, I had to make a decision."
Among the other schedule changes, France Info journalist Célyne Baÿt-Darcourt, a media specialist, will host the 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. slot. Faced with internal criticism of her management, Agnès Vahramian, who has been in the role since September, responded: "The fact that there is change can be abrupt and disruptive in our company," but "it's an editorial choice, not an individual one." In a statement at the end of May, the CGT union at Radio France denounced the "extremely brutal" end to the season.
