Switzerland and the United States have not reached an agreement before the deadline for customs duties expires, Swiss President Karin Keller-Sutter announced Thursday evening on the social network X, after speaking with US President Donald Trump.
"I met with President Trump today before the tariff deadline. The trade deficit remains a central concern of his. This meeting did not result in an agreement on the declaration of intent negotiated between Switzerland and the United States," she wrote.
