A single summer of drought in 2018 was enough to reveal the fragility of the Hauterive-la-Fresse water network. Today, thanks to an interconnection with Pontarlier and the upgrading of infrastructure, the town and its neighbor, Les Alliés, are now better equipped to face future water pressures.
