From now on, aid will be allocated by cross-referencing tax information (household income) with the Delivery Point (PDL) number of the electricity meter.
In order to simplify the process as much as possible for households, automatic sending is preferred .
So, you're probably wondering what to do if you're not logged in? Well, you'll have to apply. To do this, an online portal will be set up from mid-October. For the application to be valid, you'll need to provide proof of identity, tax information, and proof of an electricity supply contract less than three months old.
Exceptionally, applications for 2025 can be submitted until February 28, 2026, the press release states. France Services centers will be there to support those who need it.
A distribution at the end of the yearDue to these changes, the distribution of energy checks for the 2025 campaign will take place later than usual . The first checks are scheduled to be sent out in November 2025.
For future years, starting in 2026, the campaign will return to normal. Checks will be sent in the spring, and applications can be made from January 1st to December 31st.
Faced with this situation, Marc Ferracci, the Minister for Industry and Energy, called on suppliers to show flexibility . In particular, the minister asked that potential beneficiaries avoid power cuts in the event of non-payment and that power reductions be prioritized .
He also recalled that the protections linked to the energy check are retroactive and must apply as soon as the beneficiary presents their certificate or check.
