At the Agora of the Fête de l'Humanité, Sophie Binet calls for putting the executive "under pressure from the street"

Following the first wave of protests on September 10, and just days before the inter-union call for a strike on the 18th, the CGT general secretary was the guest of the Agora at the Fête de l'Humanité this Saturday, September 13. "Everyone on strike in your workplace on September 18 because we must bury the budget in the museum of horrors," declared the union representative.
It was to applause that the General Secretary of the CGT (French General Confederation of Labour) arrived on stage at the Agora of the Fête de l'Humanité. And Sophie Binet didn't waste a minute. She attacked head-on the issue of the moment: Emmanuel Macron's appointment of another of his loyalists to Matignon, even as his policies are being criticized both in the Assembly and on the streets....
