THIS is how much it will cost to travel on a cruise in 2025

In the 21st century, there are no excuses for not traveling on a huge cruise ship—unless you're prone to nausea, or you just don't care about polluting too much. It's a tremendously uncomfortable truth, but cruises are one of the most polluting side effects of tourism. If this, in reality, matters very little to you, you should know that you can find cruises from Mexico or nearby ports with prices starting at very affordable prices.
For example, 5-day cruises departing from Los Angeles and visiting Ensenada or Catalina can cost from 7,248 pesos per person.
A longer 8-day itinerary, also departing from Los Angeles and visiting Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlán, and Puerto Vallarta, starts at approximately 23,907 pesos, while a similar 8-day itinerary starts at 19,550 pesos. Similarly, an 8-day cruise to the Bahamas and the Mexican coast from Port Canaveral (Orlando) starts at 11,589 pesos.

For longer trips of 6 to 9 days, inside cabins range from 10,000 to 20,000, with balconies ranging from 20,000 to 30,000, and suites range from 35,000 to 45,000. Furthermore, it is important to consider that Mexico has postponed and significantly reduced the collection of taxes for cruise passengers in 2025. A planned tax of $42 per passenger was reduced to just $5, helping to keep boarding costs low and avoiding steep increases for tourists disembarking at Mexican ports.
