Retail workers with raises and bonuses: Who will earn more than $1,125,000 in October?

Retail employees will receive their salaries and bonuses in October, with an increase agreed upon by the Argentine Federation of Retail and Service Employees (FAECYS) and business chambers.

The increase applies to all salary scale categories and combines a phased increase and a fixed monthly sum of $40,000. This adjustment includes the agreed-upon 6% increase in base salaries from June 2025, with monthly payments of 1% from July to December.

The trade union and the chambers agreed on a 6% salary increase based on current base salary scales , using June 2025 values as the basis for calculation, including the non-remunerative percentages in effect until that month.

The increase will be applied in six monthly installments of 1% between July and December 2025, plus a fixed sum of $40,000 per month , which will not be added to the base salary except for the amount corresponding to December.

Commercial employees

Each employee will also receive $40,000 per month for the second semester.

Retail employees in higher categories, such as Administrative F and some Sales D , will receive more than $1,125,000 in October, including the $40,000 bonus.

How much does a part-time retail employee earn?

Employees in the A-level workshop category who work part-time, meaning four hours a day, five days a week, will receive a proportional salary of $512,957. Added to this is the full October bonus of $40,000, bringing the total monthly income to $552,957 .

In the case of Administrative A , the proportional salary will be $518,531, and adding the $40,000 bonus, the monthly total amounts to $558,531 .

Cashiers A will earn $520,388 for part-time work, plus a $40,000 bonus, for a total of $560,388 in October. Similarly, Auxiliary Personnel A will receive a proportional salary of $520,388 and a $40,000 bonus, also totaling $560,388.

Specialized Assistants A will receive a proportional income of $524,850 , which, together with the $40,000 bonus, makes a monthly total of $564,850. Finally, Salespeople A will receive a partial salary of $520,388 plus a $40,000 bonus, for a total of $560,388 in October.
