Photos and social media from the opening of the new hotel in Chacras de Coria: Casa Haydee

Despite the clouds and rain, friends, guests and authorities of Mendoza were present at the inauguration of Casa Haydee , located at Victor Delhez 5954, Luján de Cuyo . The house , which was remodeled to become a boutique hotel , retains its original essence with renovated rooms, spacious landscaping and a swimming pool that invites you to relax.

" The idea for the hotel came about as a dream ," says Claudia Avila, one of the owners of Casa Haydee . Inspired by a strong family legacy and with an interior design designed to reflect Mendoza hospitality, the hotel offers an intimate and welcoming experience for visitors. This project was born as a tribute to Haydee, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother of the creators of the proposal, Angela Gladys Quiroz, Claudia Elizabeth Avila and Malena Donoso Avila, respectively.

Casa Haydee is not a conventional hotel . With few rooms and a carefully planned interior design, the proposal seeks to make the guest feel at home. " We want to give the feeling of home, that cordiality and exclusive attention ," explains Claudia Avila. The establishment is located on a large plot of land, preserving much of its original structure and adding new rooms that maintain the spirit of the place.

The interior design was key to the hotel's identity, and Belén Vartalitis was involved in this task, working together with the owners to achieve a balance between their personal tastes and the essence of the project. " When I met with them, I realized that they weren't looking for a normal hotel, but rather a space with soul, where the guest really feels like they're in a Mendoza home ," said the designer.

The opening event of Casa Haydee was on February 26 and was attended by Governor Alfredo Cornejo and Mayor Esteban Allasino, who participated in the traditional ribbon cutting along with the hotel owners Ángela, Claudia and Malena.

During the inauguration, Mayor Allasino highlighted the importance of entrepreneurship: " Congratulations to those who decide to continue entrepreneurship in an Argentina that is always chaotic. Getting out of the situation we are in will be done by the Argentines themselves deciding to put our effort into it."

For his part, Governor Cornejo highlighted the growth of tourism in the province: "We celebrate all the ventures, but without a doubt, we celebrate those in tourism. It is a success that Mendoza has transformed itself into a tourist brand in the last decade ."

Those present took shelter from the rain while listening to the speeches in the outdoor facilities, which were set up to be used as garages for future guests. Reservations for the hotel are already open.

With this opening, Casa Haydee joins the Mendoza hotel offer with a unique proposal that rescues family tradition and the warmth of interior design. " We hope that we are welcomed and valued, because it took a lot of work, a lot of effort and we have put a lot into every detail ," concluded Claudia Avila.
