ISA profits rose to $2.8 billion in 2024; it will give 50% to its shareholders

2024 was "a year of solid financial performance," said ISA's president, Jorge Carrillo, when reporting a net profit of 2.8 billion pesos. A figure that represents a growth of 14 percent compared to 2023 when the company earned 2.4 billion pesos.
"2024 was an uncertain year. The macroeconomic outlook did not look good, it was a year where there were several peaks of emotion due to things that happened in the geopolitical context. However, we had excellent results and that demonstrates ISA's capabilities," said Jorge Carillo.
This increase in earnings was mainly due to the higher EBITDA generated and the asset impairments that decreased results in 2023 and were no longer present in 2024.
