The School of Public Administration ( ESAP ) is auctioning off cars for July 2025. If you're thinking about purchasing a vehicle, you might want to take advantage of the sale the organization is holding.
There are fifteen cars and trucks with varying specifications and prices. The most affordable has a base price of $4,600,000.
These are the cars and trucks in the ESAP auction. The auction catalogue includes:
- Chevrolet Captiva Sport brand car, year 2012. Base value of $14,000,000.
- Mazda 3 brand car, year 2005. Base value of $7,800,000.
- Two Chevrolet Captiva Sport cars, year 2012. Base value of each one: $14,600,000.

- Two Chevrolet Captiva Sport cars, year 2012. Base value of each one: $13,400,000.
- Nissan D22/NP 300 pickup truck, year 2013. Base value of $17,600,000.

The auction is being held through the El Martillo digital platform . Interested bidders can place bids from 12 p.m. on July 30th until 10:30 a.m. on July 31st, 2025. The steps to follow are:
- You must register at https://www.elmartillo.com.co/inicio . (If you already have an account, skip this step.)
- Select July 31st on the calendar to have the platform display the ESAP car catalog.
- Review the catalog and choose the one that interests you.
- Click the '+ View Details' button. Read each item's specifications and the base price and deposit required. You'll find out if it's on display and where to view it in person.
- On auction day, log back into the El Martillo website with your username and password and click on 'Virtual Auction Room'.
- Make a pre-deposit for the item you've chosen. Payment is made through PSE.
- Please read the other instructions on the platform to bid on the property.

If you are the auction winner, you will be notified to make the remaining payment for the vehicle and begin the transfer process .
Please note that the cost may increase, as the person purchasing one of the vehicles at auction will have to assume, as stated in the auction conditions:
- Tax of the year 2025
- Transfer procedures
- Renewal of Mandatory Traffic Accident Insurance ( SOAT)
- Technical Mechanical Inspection Certificate - RTM
- Change or replacement of plates (if applicable)
- Change from official to private service
- Debts for municipal or departmental taxes, transit or transportation fees, late payments, penalties, or any other type of obligation.
