Ayuso announces a deduction of up to 400 euros per tuition fee for all working students under 30 years of age.

The Community of Madrid is gearing up for the upcoming State of the Region Debate, which will take place this Thursday and Friday. President Isabel Díaz Ayuso announced this Tuesday a tax deduction of up to €400 per year for tuition fees for all working students under the age of 30. The aid will be available for both university and higher education students.
During the start-of-year event held at the Simone Ortega Integrated Vocational Training Center in Móstoles, Ayuso emphasized that this is a deduction that will help ease the cost of tuition fees , with the aim of supporting the effort, talent, and self-sacrifice of students under 30 who not only train to improve their opportunities but also actively contribute to Madrid's productive fabric.
In this way, a 50% deduction may be applied to the amounts paid for university tuition for undergraduate or advanced vocational training studies , up to a limit of 400 euros per year.
According to the Community of Madrid, students wishing to benefit from this new deduction must be enrolled for a full academic year and provide proof of employment—self-employed or employed—for at least 300 days a year, of which at least five months must coincide with their studies . In any case, it will not apply to training contracts.
The regional government estimates that around 15,000 young people will be able to benefit from this incentive, for which a maximum of 6 million euros will be allocated .
